On Monday, May 13, 2024, an online seminar titled "Gendered Language: Words Are Harmless Yet Harmful – Necessities and Clarifications" was held, co-organized by the GEADC of ELGO-DIMITRA and the National Network of GEADCs of Research Centers.

The seminar explored key issues of inclusion and visibility in both spoken and written language. It was led by Dr. Angeliki Fotopoulou, linguist and Research Director at the Institute of Language Processing at the “Athena” Research Center. The session was moderated by Dr. Anastasia Tsagkarakou, Research Director at ELGO-DIMITRA and Head of the GEADC, along with Dr. Alexandra Syntori, Senior Researcher at ELGO-DIMITRA and member of the GEADC.
