On Friday, June 30, 2023, the first in-person meeting of the Network of Gender Equality & Anti-Discrimination Committees of Research Centers was held at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. The meeting focused on the goals and upcoming initiatives of the Network's Working Groups, addressing key issues such as the development of standardized equality indicators, the creation of protocols for handling reports of sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination, the integration of gender perspectives in research, work-life balance, and the fostering of an inclusive environment in research centers.
